DESCRIPTION

The Theatre Arts Tech II will serve as the head of electrics and lighting support for the Theatre UCF production season and as the lead in the shop for all electrics-related matters, including teaching electrics classes to students. The person will mentor lab students, guide interested students in their journey through the design program with a focus on lighting and electrics, and also oversee our limited video programs and services. The person will oversee all aspects of the lighting equipment, installation and removal, hanging lighting plots, attending technical rehearsals, and during our Celebration of the Arts. Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
