Round trip transportation is provided by ACT of Connecticut on a daily basis (between NYC and Ridgefield, CT) in shared company vehicles for all rehearsals and performances. From the start of technical rehearsals through the opening weekend, local housing will be offered to non-local cast members by ACT of CT (rather than traveling back and forth daily between NYC and Ridgefield, CT).

Performances are Thursday through Sunday, with understudy rehearsals on Thursday afternoons (after opening).

All rehearsals and performances are in Ridgefield, CT at ACT of Connecticut. Rehearsals and performances will be indoors. These will be live performances with an audience.

Actors must be comfortable working on turntable, as this may be used throughout the production.

ECC Procedures are in effect for this audition.

SYNOPSIS:
With phenomenal music, memorable characters, and great storytelling, Jersey Boys follows the fascinating evolution of four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. Jersey Boys takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom.

SEEKING:
[ FRANKIE VALLI ] Male-identified character, 20s - 30s. 5’9 or shorter; a strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto and be ability to sing in the style of Frankie Valli. Strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G. Very comfortable with four-part harmonies. Charismatic and charming with both a gritty side as well as a polished veneer.

[ TOMMY DEVITO ] Male-identified character, 30s. Strong tenor/bari-tenor voice. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. A natural-born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality. Ability to play guitar and/or bass a very strong plus.

[ NICK MASSI ] Male-identified character, 30s - 40s. Strong bass/baritone voice, very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. A quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons.

[ BOB GAUDIO ] Male-identified character, 20 - 35. Tall with a strong tenor/baritone voice; very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. An intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy.
