RWS Global is hosting auditions at The Imagination House in Orlando, FL on June 27th and 28th seeking multiple charming and magnetic personalities for contracts as Onboard Presenter Hosts for MSC Cruises. Presenters are the life of the party on every deck, hosting a wide range of events from trivia and bingo to deck parties and athletic events.
Presenter Hosts should be high energy, authentic, fun-loving people who shine in the spotlight and love getting to know guests.
Ideal candidates are:
- Fearless in front of an audience, skilled in improvisation and thrive in an environment at sea.
- Have minimum 2 years experience in entertainment hosting positions or have experience and expertise as a Master of Ceremony or Presenter with US audiences.
- Are guest oriented, understand commercial availability and customer promises and utilize customer service skills by exercising authority and discretion to satisfy guests of all levels, nationality, gender and age, in a manner consistent with company standards.
- Have efficient written and verbal communication and have excellent organizational planning and leadership skills.
On Board & Daily Responsibilities:
- To support current onboard teams with presenter duties, while maintaining the high standards and good morals reflected in MSC’s family values.
- To support in planning and programming events and attractions to maximize potential and guest experience.
- To execute the program, using the SOP, in a professional manner appealing to guests of all ages/nationalities.
- To support in creating the long-term SOP and Work Practices of the role.
- To support in creating new Concepts for the US Canvas and work with shoreside team on delivering it.
- Seek out Guest contact with outgoing attitude, enthusiasm and self-motivation while inviting guests to play and join in on the fun.
- Responsible for hosting many activities and events aimed at English-speaking (US) guests and introducing poolside and lounge activations. Some of these events and introductions may include: Sail Away / Welcome Aboard pool party, Poolside events & games, Branded & Licensed activities, Game Shows & trivia events, Band / DJ sets as well as audience engagement in between these sets, US Brand Ambassador engagements / professional relationship building with US audience, Public Address Announcements, Cruise Director's TV Morning Show Formats, Adverts and Promotional videos and additional Hosting Duties as needed.
$4000 - $4500 per month based on experience.
*Please be advised if offered a position, candidate will be responsible for the costs and obtainment of both Crew Medical and Safety Certificates prior to starting contract.
July - November 2024. Contracts will be in 3 month increments with full availability required.
